Days 1 & 2. Boston, MA The "Athens of America" is yours to discover. Explore the Freedom Trail, ride the Swanboats, shop at Quincy Market, enjoy a dinner cruise on Boston Harbor. Take the "T" to Cambridge, or a whale watch cruise from the New England Aquarium. Museums, shops, art galleries complete your visit. Overnight: Doubletree Downtown, Boston.
Days 3 & 4. To Québec, PQ (394 miles) Travel to romantic Québec City. Québec, capital of the province, is carved into bluffs overlooking the St. Lawrence River. A city tour reveals the only walled city in North America. The old city's cobblestone streets and French cafés are overlooked by the impressive Château Frontenac. Dine on French cuisine, walk along the Dufferin Terrasse. Hotel: Clarendon Hotel.
Day 5. To Montréal, PQ (165 miles) Explore the "Paris of North America." In Old Montréal, take a carriage ride along the River, stroll the cobblestone streets of the Latin Quarter, visit Olympic Park and the majestic Notre Dame Basilica. Take a short drive to Mount Royal Park for spectacular views of downtown Montréal, and climb the steps to the historic St. Joseph's Oratory. Overnight: Holiday Inn Montreal Midtown.
Days 6. To Ottawa, ON (117 miles) Travel into Ontario on your way to Ottawa, with its magnificent public gardens, stately parliament buildings, museums and galleries. Take a cruise on the Rideau Canal. Just across the river is Hull, Québec, with its wonderful casino and The Museum of Civilization. Overnight: Capital Hill Hotel & Suites.
Days 7 & 8. To Toronto, ON (254 miles) Welcome to Toronto, a haven of museums, theaters and art centers. Plan a trip to the top of the CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the world; enjoy an evening at the theatre. Overnight: Westin Harbor Castle.
Day 9. To Niagara Falls, ON (109 miles) The Niagara River divides the US and Canada; its sudden drop creates one of the most spectacular waterfalls on the continent. Enjoy a Maid of the Mist cruise or a helicopter tour. Overnight: Clarion President.
Day 10. To Amish Country, PA (392 miles) En route to Pennsylvania, stop at Corning Glass Center and watch skilled craftsmen blow shape into molten glass. Good food and good times await you in Pennsylvania Dutch country. Overnight: Eden Resort.
Days 11 & 12: To Washington, DC (133 miles) Discover Gettysburg, site of the most famous battle of the American Civil War. Washington awaits with history, power and beauty. Enjoy the monuments, the Smithsonian's museums, Arlington National Cemetery, the White House and much more. Overnight: Marriott Wardman Park Hotel.
Days 13 & 14. To New York (230 miles) Travel via Philadelphia to visit the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. The Big Apple awaits. Take a cruise to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, enjoy a Broadway play and the view from the top of the Empire State Building. Overnight: Hotel Edison.
Days 15. To Boston, MA (200 miles) Return to Boston via the coast. Stop in Mystic, Connecticut on the way to Boston's Logan Airport and your flight home.
