Built as a private residence in 1833, the Green Mountain Inn became a gracious hotel in the mid 1800's.

Tastefully restored for its 150th anniversary, the Inn today offers guests a warm blend of modern comforts and authentic country charm.

Each of the Inn's 100 guestrooms and suites has its own special character.

Many have queen-sized canopy beds, fireplaces and Jacuzzis.

Stencilling, draperies of early American design and country quilts create an atmosphere of old-fashioned ease.

The famous Whip Bar & Grill, named for its collection of antique buggy whips, is casual and inviting.

The Main Street Dining Room is a gracious colonial dining room where guests can enjoy a hearty Vermont country breakfast.
